AFK and offline progress

Automatic opening runs only while the game is open. Reopening it does not generate chest openings or items for the time spent closed.

AFK and offline progress
While the game process runs, battles continue and can produce real combat loot and stage progress. Compact view changes presentation. Keep a viable party and choose repeat or advance.
Minimize
An open game continues its simulation behind other windows and when minimised. Minimising lowers the frame budget, so it may progress more slowly. This is live combat, not an offline reward.

Compact: a thin strip above the taskbar. Fullscreen: the window fills the screen with a visible background.

AFK and offline progress
When you reopen the game, the offline calculation uses saved gold and XP rates at 50%, for at most 4 hours. An absence shorter than 60 seconds gives no offline report.
More information
Offline rewards grant gold and XP only. They do not simulate stages or grant items, materials or chests. VIP, clan and account bonuses do not multiply this offline calculation. Invalid or excessively old timestamps can yield no reward.
Computer sleep
A sleeping computer does not run the game. If the process remains open, the large elapsed frame on waking is capped; the whole sleep is not simulated. Offline rewards are calculated when loading a save, not by this frame.
